Terms and Conditions Vamoz Academy

Effective date: 01 December 2025

Note: In case of doubt, the German version of these terms and conditions applies.

1. Provider and Scope of Application

These Terms and Conditions (“T&C”) govern the contractual relationship between
Vamoz AG, Suurstoffi 18b, 6343 Rotkreuz, Switzerland
(hereinafter “Vamoz”)
and natural or legal persons who book seminars, training series, or seminar packages via vamoz.io/academy
(hereinafter “Participants”).

These T&C apply to all continuing education services offered by Vamoz through the Vamoz Academy, in particular online seminars, training series, and seminar packages.

Any deviating terms and conditions of the Participants shall not apply unless expressly approved in writing by Vamoz.

By completing a booking, Participants agree to these T&C.

2. Offers and Conclusion of Contract

The offers published on vamoz.io/academy constitute a non-binding invitation to book.

A contract is concluded once:

  • the booking has been completed via the website, and

  • the payment has been successfully processed (e.g. via Stripe), or

  • Vamoz has issued a booking confirmation in the case of payment by invoice.

In the case of seminar packages, the contract covers all individual events included in the respective description.

Partial participation in a seminar or seminar package does not entitle the Participant to a price reduction or refund.

3. Services and Delivery

The content, scope, dates, and format of the events are defined in the respective event description on vamoz.io/academy.

Events are primarily conducted as live online formats (e.g. via Livestorm or comparable platforms).

Vamoz is entitled to engage cooperation partners, speakers, or subcontractors for the provision of its services.

There is no entitlement to the delivery of an event by specific speakers or on specific dates, provided that the content and quality of the event are maintained.

Vamoz reserves the right to make organisational or content-related adjustments, provided such changes do not materially alter the overall character of the event.

4. Prices and Payment Terms

All prices are stated in Swiss Francs (CHF) unless otherwise indicated.

Payment processing is generally carried out via Stripe (e.g. credit card or other payment methods offered by Stripe).

Alternatively, payment by invoice may be agreed on an individual basis.

Participation fees are generally due immediately. In the event of late payment, Vamoz is entitled to deny access to the event or to withdraw from the contract.

5. Withdrawal, Cancellation, and Substitute Participation

Free cancellation is possible up to 7 calendar days before the start of the first booked event.

In the event of later cancellation or non-attendance, there is no entitlement to a refund.

For seminar packages, the start of the first included session shall be decisive.

Events that have already started or seminar packages that have been partially used are non-refundable.

Cancellations must be submitted in text form (e.g. by email to academy@vamoz.io).

Illness / Substitute Participation

If a Participant is unable to attend the booked session due to health-related reasons, Vamoz will, upon prior notification, allow the Participant to attend a later session of the same or a comparable event, provided such a session is offered and places are available.
In this case, no refund shall be granted.

No Entitlement to Substitute Sessions

There is no entitlement to the organisation, repetition, or creation of additional substitute sessions, in particular if a seminar series has been completed or is no longer offered.

6. Cancellation or Changes by Vamoz

Vamoz reserves the right to cancel or reschedule events for important reasons, in particular due to illness of speakers, technical issues, or force majeure.

In such cases, participation fees already paid will be fully refunded or, upon request, credited towards a substitute date.

Any further claims, in particular claims for indirect damages or expenses, are excluded.

7. Technical Requirements

Participants are responsible for ensuring that they meet the technical requirements for participation (internet connection, hardware, software).

Vamoz assumes no liability for participation issues arising from technical problems on the Participant’s side.

8. Copyright and Usage Rights

All content and materials provided in connection with the events are protected by copyright.

Use is permitted exclusively for the Participant’s own internal purposes.

Any distribution, reproduction, publication, or commercial use without prior written consent from Vamoz is prohibited.

Audio, video, or screen recordings by Participants are not permitted.

9. Liability

Vamoz shall be liable exclusively for damages caused by intentional or grossly negligent conduct.

Liability for indirect damages, consequential damages, or loss of profit is excluded to the extent permitted by law.

The content of the events does not constitute individual legal, tax, or business advice.

10. Data Protection

Vamoz processes personal data in accordance with the applicable Swiss data protection legislation (DSG).
Further information is available in the privacy policy at vamoz.io/privacy.

11. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction

Swiss law shall apply exclusively, to the exclusion of conflict-of-law provisions.

The place of jurisdiction shall be the registered office of Vamoz AG, unless mandatory statutory provisions provide otherwise.

12. Final Provisions

Should any provision of these T&C be or become invalid in whole or in part, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected.

Vamoz reserves the right to amend these T&C at any time. The version valid at the time of booking shall apply.
